Field Trips

Our 2nd grade scholars will be going on a field trip to Art Quest on 
February21st.

5th graders will be going to the Greensboro Science Center on February 24th.

All permission slips have been sent home. Please be sure all forms and money is turned in on time so your scholar can attend.

High School
House Page Program
Our high school scholars will have the opportunity to participate
 in the House Page Program.
 This program offers young men and women the opportunity to learn about,
and participate in the legislative process of our state. Students will be allowed to see first hand how laws are made.
The selection process is highly competitive.

Read-in
The African-American Read-in is coming to The Point on Thursday, February 23rd! What better way to honor our people than by reading their stories! Parents are encouraged to join us! Bring your favorite book and a cup of tea!

This quiz bowl style invitational competition is open to students in grades 3-10.
 Information on joining the team went home this week. Team members will beannounced Friday, February 3rd.

Uniform Policy
"Start Early, Start Strong"

School uniforms are required (Monday - Friday)
School leaders will announce when dress down Friday (jeans and school t-shirt) has been rewarded.
Until then all students must wear the daily uniform.

*Students must wear the Wednesday uniform (black and white dress attire) even when assembly has been cancelled.*
