Adult Sunday School

This week's discussion topic for Faith Journeys, our Adult Sunday School class will be: "Setting our Faces to Jerusalem: The Passion Narratives in the Four Gospels." The topic for next week's Adult Sunday School will be "Setting our Faces to Jerusalem: Who Walked the Road with Jesus?" Faith Journeys meets from 9:30-10:15 a.m. in Messiah Hall, rooms 203 and 204, and is facilitated by Dee Paddock. Please join us!
 
 

Sunday Breakfast 

This Sunday, March 19, the Worship, Music and the Arts is hosting a continental breakfast from 9:00-10:30 a.m. in St. Michael's Hall. Enjoy breakfast and fellowship.
 

Soli Deo Musica Concert  
Wartburg Choir and Valley Singers  

The Soli Deo Musica concert series team would like to invite you to a fantastic concert on Saturday, March 25, at 2:30 p.m. at Faith. Come and enjoy the acclaimed Wartburg Choir and the Valley Singers from West Des Moines in concert. There will be a free-will offering. Both of these choirs have long-standing success in the area and the United States. You don't want to miss this event.
 

Guys' Night Out


The Guys' Night Out group is going to Court Avenue Brewing Company at 309 Court Avenue. They are meeting on Monday, March 27, at 7:00 p.m. Please let Dave Eppert (710-8558) or Tim Tessier (707-0880) know if you will be attending by sending a text. Hope to see you there!
 
 
Faith Book Club
 
 
  Faith Book Club will meet Tuesday, March 21, at the home of Ann Taylor. Our book is The Trouble with Goats and Sheep by Joanna Cannon. Copies are plentiful a the Clive library! We will also have a book exchange in March. For April, we will read Hidden Figures by Margo Lee Shetterly. Faith Book Club meets the third Tuesday of the month. All are welcome! Faith Women's Gathering Reminder   
What Wise Women of Faith Do
 
This year's Faith Women's Dialogue will be Friday, April 7, from 5:50-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 8, from 8:50 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (or come early for yoga at 8:00 a.m.). Registration will begin the weekend of March 18-19, March 25-26 and April 1-2. Registration forms are also available in the church office or online. Please include your payment of cash or check along with your form which can be given to the church office staff. The cost is $30 which includes a light supper on Friday and lunch on Saturday.
 
This year's topics include: Failures, Vulnerability, Resilience and Wisdom to live through it all with joy, creativity and collaboration.
