Reinhardt theatre students enjoy master class with TV's Gabrielle Ruiz

By Erika Neldner

The excitement was plentiful in Flint Hall Tuesday as TV and Broadway star Gabrielle Ruiz held a master class complete with Q&A and a choreographed dance routine.

Students listened intently as Ruiz answered their questions from auditioning to knowing lines. Ruiz gave them tips on making it in New York and Los Angeles and how to properly budget in a career that could include weeks off at a time.

Ruiz said she enjoyed the time with students, who quickly learned the choreography she gave them to the theme song for the CW's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, on which she plays Valencia.
