Thrive is a place set apart for spiritual renewal in a peaceful place of beauty. Come, get away from the distractions of life in order to get in touch with what is going on in your soul, practice stillness, and listen to the whisper of God in that place. This time away will be a balance of group worship, scripture meditation, sharing, and also directed times of silence, rest and listening.

We're making a list and adding to it every day.
We want to share the blessing of serving at camp with you. We have experienced God using very ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. There is nothing like saying yes to service and having your life changed because of it! (Ask me; I'm one of those people.) You can volunteer for an hour or two, or put together a Dream Team (ages 15 and up) of six to eight people to serve during one of our summer programs. Maybe a dad and mom, their kids and a few friends? A male and female youth leader and a few youth group students? Aunt & Uncle and cousins? What are you doing this summer? It's Time to register for Race For The Campers 

We are planning our second annual RUN FOR THE CAMPERS 5K Obstacle Run right here in beautiful Trout Lake. A scenic 10K and 1 mile fun run are also available. FOR SUMMER STAFF SCHOLARSHIPS!
One of the favorite parts of my summer is awarding scholarships to the staffies who qualify and apply to our Summer Staff Scholarship Fund. Our staffies volunteer their summers, but they are college students who have financial needs. Your gifts to this Silent Auction (and your purchases on May 27th) go directly into the 2017 fund. It's time to mark your calendars for our
Annual Family Fun Day!

Family Fun Day at Camp Jonah is our biggest event each year and we want you to join us. See it as a Jonah Family Reunion. Grab your friends and family and spend a day with free activities,
lunch on the lawn. Get registered for camp, check out the silent auction and start it all by joining one of the morning runs. We just love our family and can't wait to see you on Saturday, May 27th (Memorial Day Weekend). Click here for more information.  
  
Prayer & Praise:
  1. Thank you, Father, for a beautiful winter. We're grateful for four wonderful seasons in Trout Lake. Thank you that you also created spring! We look forward to green grass and daffodils-and campers!
  2. Thank you for safety this winter. The weather was harsh at times. Thank you for Jeff and Flint plowing and shoveling for seemingly endless days. Thank you for the blessing they are to Jonah and to many of our neighbors.
  3. Thank you for safety on the roads as our guest groups drove to and from camp on icy roads. Thank you that both groups who had to cancel were also able to reschedule! We love retreat groups!
  4. Thank you for the gift in January that allowed us to purchase 60 more brand-new mattresses for our dorms. We are so thrilled to have 120 awesome mattresses! Thank you for the tiny church that gave this huge gift. What a testimony!
  5. Would you guide us to just the right staffies for this summer? We have a feeling that You are changing things up a bit and we want to be right in Your Sweet Spot. We know that our staffies make our camps and so we watch and listen for Your will. Thank you, also, for the excitement we feel about the staffies You will bring to us this summer.
  6. Father, would you bless the generous souls that paid for Jeff and me to go on a missions trip with our church to Guatemala March 24th - April 2nd! Thank you for arranging the timing so we could actually say yes to this dream of ours. Please take care of things for us while we're gone and bless Carmen and Micah as they fill in the gaps for us.
  7. We want more of You, all of You. We want to fully surrender and say yes to You. Continue to give us the DESIRE and the POWER to do what pleases You (Phil. 2:13). It's a strenuous, fulfilling journey!
  8. Remind us continually that You are our Camp Director. Help us not to ever, ever forget that!
  9. Would You protect our families? We love our crew so much and often find it hard to balance our busy lives with our desire to be with our parents, kids and grandkids. We pray your blessing on our families.
  10. Father, we ask for healing for Julianne's arms and relief from the constant pain that seems to have come from her work in the Jonah kitchen. We ask for wisdom with Workman's Compensation and for financial blessing for her. Would you lead her to a career that is a perfect fit for her?
  11. Do You want us to restructure the kitchen? Who would you like cook this summer? Thank you for Katie and her crew of Friday food prep volunteers from MABC. It's cool to watch You at work!
  12. Thank you for the churches who pray for Camp Jonah, send kids and adults to camps, send workers to help, and financially support us. Thank you, also for the opportunities we've had this year to share our Jonah story with a few of these congregations.These are special people to us!
  13. Oh, Father, give us wisdom. Help us to keep our eyes on You, the author and finisher of our faith. Thank you for giving us purpose and for your many, many blessings!
