Announcing the 2017 Aphasia Awareness Concert
There's a reason the 5-time Grammy-winning Bee Gees were honored at this year's Grammy Awards! Those three-part harmonies and the distinct R&B falsetto became their signature sound during the 70s and 80s. 

On Friday, May 5th, the remarkable tribute band Bee Gees Gold will transport you back to the Bee Gees in their prime. Join us at the 8th annual Aphasia Awareness Concert, presented by Vicky and Javaid Anwar and Midland Energy/Petroplex Energy.

Because of you, our region's businesses, foundations, and individuals, we are making life's interactions more accessible for stroke survivors and others who cope with the communication disorder of aphasia. February 2nd, West Texas was Puttin' On The Ritz at the Horseshoe Pavilion Speakeasy in Midland. Plenty of fellas and dolls got past the bouncers for a swanky good time consuming sweets and bootleg. We can't thank you enough for puttin' on your glad rags and supporting the Aphasia Center.

     If you are a healthcare worker, business owner, family member, or friend wanting to understand how you can make "communication access" a reality, check out the educational videos available from Aphasia Access here. 
     LPAA 101 in Action will show you specific techniques anyone can use to lesson the frustration for both the individual with aphasia and all those who care about them.
