Now that we have sold the headquarters, one of the projects that we are now working on is the purchase of 56 acres of land in Louisville Kentucky, which will be used as the NBCA Retreat and Leadership Center.  During the meeting, a rendering of the proposed site was shown by Rev.  Samuel Bland, pastor of Pleasant Hill MB Church and  the Chair of the Architectural and Mechanical Computer Design Drafting Programs at Sullivan College of Technology Design, Louisville, KY.  This Center will offer sleeping accommodations, kitchen, conference room, lakes (with fish), and other amenities for our member churches to use.  As more information becomes available, we will be excited to share the details.

COOPERATIVE BAPTIST FELLOWSHIP

We broke a record in Albuquerque because of a partnership with Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF). NBCA and CBF now have a signed MOU that provides NBCA with a consultant who will from time to time consult with President Tolbert and others on strategic decisions about our future. In addition, CBF has been an outstanding partner in disaster relief.

GHANA

The E. Edward Jones School is anticipating renovations to begin, as there is a Fall 2017 reopening with the fully accredited Ghana Baptist University occupying the facility.  Documents that gives us ownership of the property was forwarded to President Tolbert, as executed by the chief in Ghana Africa of the Tribal government.

During the Mid-Winter Board Meeting, President Tolbert signed the document that now puts NBCA in possession of over 60 acres in Ghana, West Africa. We will partner with Ghana Baptist to develop a complex for Baptist Missions at this site.  These projects are being done with the Ghana Baptist Convention being NBCA's agent.
