Stewart MS parents invited to Sneak Peek Tours next week
Ready to see your kid's new digs? Parents interested in getting a peek at the new building  can join Planning & Construction staff for a one-hour guided tour next week. Students are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The first sneak peek opportunity will be Wednesday, March 8, 5:30-6:30 p.m. A second will be Saturday, March 11, 9-10 a.m. Please meet at the front entrance, 5010 Pacific Ave., by the tour start time. Media may also be joining the tours.

Boxes and furniture will be in transition during these sneak peek tours. Please be considerate of any teachers or movers on site as they are working to get moved in and set up.

REMEMBER: IT'S MOVING WEEK
Our last day at Camp Hunt will be Wednesday, March 8. Classes will begin Monday, March 13, at the modernized Stewart Middle School, 5010 Pacific Ave. The first bell is at 7:53 a.m.; tardy bell rings at 8 a.m. Classes are dismissed at 2:45 p.m.

All families and community members are invited to help cheer on a new era at Stewart Middle School by giving students a proper welcome back as they arrive at school at Monday, March 13.

We will be gathering in the courtyard by 7:30 a.m. Please plan to arrive early, and leave time to park and make your way to the new courtyard entry area off D Street & South 50th Street. The courtyard is located at the center of campus, facing the future track and field.

New bus routes, schedules

A new location means new bus routes!  This is the planned Stewart bus schedule to begin March 13. Stops can change, so please check the Transportation website regularly for the most up-to-date information. 
Drop-off instructions

Parents can enter the parking lot off of South 50th Street, then pull through and exit onto Pacific Avenue after dropping off or picking up their student. Parents can also park or drop off students along South 50th Street between Pacific Avenue and South D Street.

Mark your calendar! Staff, students, families and community members are invited to help celebrate the newly modernized Stewart Middle School during the grand opening celebration on Wednesday, May24, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
