The Frisco City Council held a Special Election to fill City Council Place 1 on February 18, 2017. This Election resulted in a runoff that will be held between John Keating and Brandon Burden.
The Special Runoff Election will be held
Saturday, March 25, 2017. Early voting begins March 8, 2017.

Expanding Advocacy Efforts
The Frisco Chamber of Commerce is following over 175 bills that have been filed with the Texas State Legislature. We are monitoring bills that will either have a positive or negative impact on our business community. The Frisco Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee will continue to work with our elected officials to advocate as the voice of business in Frisco and North Texas.

Texas Big Star Half Marathon and 5K
The North Texas Community Giving Foundation, in partnership with The Tug McGraw Foundation, is excited to present the second annual Texas Big Star Half Marathon and 5K on Saturday, April 15, 2017. What started last year as the first endurance running event for the City of Frisco continues this year with an all-new course and Start/Finish. James Taylor & His All-Star Band To Perform at The Star
Best-known for its state-of-the-art athletic facilities, The Star truly becomes the ultimate destination for entertainment across sports, food-and now music. Ford Center will seat approximately 17,000 guests in an intimate, two-level setting, giving them the ultimate concert experience.
