Over the past ten days, four Black Transgender women have been murdered in the United States. These deaths are staggering and devastating to our community, both throughout the country and here on campus.

If you are able, we encourage you to join the Black Resource Center and the LGBT Resource Center at the Black Trans Women's Lives Matter candlelight vigil at 6:30 pm near the Hillcrest Pride Flag, at the corner of University Ave and Normal Street. We will mourn, honor and hold up our Black Trans Siblings murdered in 2017. The event is led by Black Trans women and their voices will be centered.
