PCCU Turns 85, Come Celebrate!

We're throwing a party here at PCCU to celebrate turning eighty-five, and you're invited! On Tuesday, March 28th we'll honor PCCU's founding back in 1932 on the same date. We'd love to have you join us for birthday cake and ice cream at all three of our offices. We'll also have gifts for the first eighty-five members who come in to each branch that day.

As much as we want to celebrate our longevity, we also want to thank you, our members, for helping us reach this momentous milestone. Without you bringing us your business year after year, and passing the tradition down to each succeeding generation, allowing us to earn your trust time and again we'd be long gone or absorbed into some other financial institution as many others have. We appreciate your continued patronage and rededicate ourselves to our mission of service to our members and the communities we all share. Here's to another eighty-five years serving the working families of Wayne and Henry Counties!

Home Buying Season is Here!

The weather this winter has been a bit wacky, but as the days get more consistently Spring-like people are beginning to think about buying homes. PCCU's Home Loan Expert, Amy Clark, is ready to get you pre-qualified for a home loan.

Amy will sit down with you, go over your finances, and help you figure out how much home you can afford. She'll answer your questions about the different home loan options PCCU offers; things like the difference between a conventional mortgage and options like FHA, USDA, and VA loans. She'll help you pick the option that's best for you. Call and make an appointment with her at 765-489-4571, ext 255 or by email at [email protected].

PCCU Goes Casual For a Cause

If you come in to one of PCCU's branches on a Friday or a Monday you might be surprised to find our staff wearing jeans and sneakers. Sure it's more comfortable for the staff, but is it appropriate for a financial institution? For a member owned co-operative like PCCU it's a great fit because we encourage our teams to dress casually for a cause. When a member of our team is dressing casually it's because they've donated $1 that day to the charity chosen by that branch's staff.

Our New Castle office has chosen to support the New Castle/Henry County Animal Shelter. On Tuesday, January 31st, 2017, PCCU's New Castle Branch Manager Brad Brewer and Loan Officer Chelsea Gabbard visited the shelter to present the Shelter's Director, Linda Bir-Conn with a check. With 2016 donations from the staff, members, and some matching funds from PCCU they presented Ms. Bir-Conn with a check for $563.20.

They also got to meet "Cookie", a sweet young German Shepherd-mix, who has since found a forever home. You can see many other dogs and cats needing good homes at the Shelter's website or by visiting the Shelter at 11 Midway Drive in New Castle.
Refer a New Member to PCCU and Get Rewarded

PCCU has proudly served it's members for eighty-five years. This tradition of co-operative service has kept it's momentum going as one generation of members after another has passed the gift of membership on to the next. To celebrate PCCU's 85th Birthday we're asking you to help pass that gift along. To show our gratitude to you for paying it forward we'll give you $25 for each new member you refer to PCCU. We're so confide nt that these new members will find real value in this member-owned co-operative that we'll also give them a $25 gift for becoming a member.

  Member Survey

In February we sent about half of our members postcards with surveys on them. We've received a number of them, but there are still many out there.

Whether you prefer to remain anonymous, or if you give us your name and are open to answering follow up questions, every bit of feedback helps.  We're paying the postage so all you need do is fill it out and drop it in the mail. Or if you prefer, y ou can bring it with you to your favorite branch in person. Whichever route you prefer, we'd like to have them all by Monday, March 20th.

Thank you in advance for your help, we appreciate your feedback as we work to make a better credit union for you!
We're Available 24/7

You can always visit us online at PCCU All Ways: Home Banking or from the browser on your mobile device at  www.pccu.mobi, or via our Android and iOS apps. They're all available 24/7 to make PCCU available to  you on  YOUR  schedule!
