Adding warm colors to your décor can make your living space feel intimate and soothing and, at the same time, enliven it. Warm colors are those composed of combinations of orange, red and yellow. They remind us of sunlight and warmth and blend well with most any neutral, including white, black, gray, cream and beige.

Paint is an easy way to add warm colors. Benjamin Moore CW-290 English Ochre, 523 Ivy Lane, and 2162-40 Peanut Shell are great choices to consider.

Warm colors provide stimulation, so you might want to use them in active areas rather than in calm, relaxing areas like bedrooms.

Add welcoming hues in a small way to a neutral color scheme with fresh flowers and plants, throw pillows, bed and table linens, artwork, and lamps.
