Gold Cross EMS hosted the March meeting yesterday. We met at the Chamber in the board room at noon. Maj. John Smith, who oversees the Gold Cross presence in Thomson, was on hand to tell us about their services and field questions.

February 8, 2017-Leadership McDuffie, along with Youth Leadership, made a trip to our State Capitol. We had a nice visit with our local Representatives. Thank you to Bobby Hildreth and Georgia Power for providing lunch.
March 15, 2017-we will be visiting Two State and The Timbermen for Industry day.
The Chamber partners with the Georgia Department of Labor to form the East Central Georgia Employer Committee, a partnership dedicated to bringing information to HR Generalists in the area regarding labor practices. The ECGEC meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:45 am for a program provided by experts in the fields of labor laws and hiring practices. Contact the Chamber for information regarding upcoming programs or to RSVP for the event.
The Chamber "Lunch n' Learn" Series is an innovative and creative program held on the third Tuesday of every month. Chamber members who are experts in their fields are invited to share their expertise with other Chamber members over the lunch hour. Each lunch will focus on topics related to professional and personal development.
The "Lunch n' Learn" Series is held in the Boardroom of the Thomson Depot from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cost to attend is $10/lunch for Chamber members and $20 for non-members.
