Caring for Families Who Love Their Pets

What Makes Chartiers Custom Pet Cremation Special?

How is my pet returned to me after the cremation is completed?

When you have your pet cared for by Chartiers Custom Pet Cremation, a comforting presentation is especially prepared just for you.

Before the cremation,  a little of your pet's fur/feathers is collected and then wrapped around a silk rose bud for return to you with the cremains.

The cremains are first placed in a heavy sealed bag to keep the cremains secure.

The cremains are then placed in a hand made fabric bag made specifically for your pet. You may choose a color from over 100 fabrics available here.  If you would prefer, you can provide fabric having sentimental meaning, like a favorite blanket, to make this bag.

This preparation is included in the cost of the cremation.  The fabric bag is made for you to take the cremains home, so you may defer any other memorial purchases until a time when you are emotionally ready to consider them.

Chartiers Custom Pet Cremation is here to support you as you are grieving and encourages families to take time to carefully consider any other memorial purchases.

Laying Your Beloved Pet To Rest

Losing your beloved companion is a very emotional and painful experience and one that all loving pet owners sadly endure.  After the initial grief has subsided, we begin to ask ourselves," What do we do now?"

Some families chose to keep their pets cremains in an urn in their home.  However, if your pet loved the outdoors, there are many ways to place the cremains on, in or near the earth.
  •  Garden of Remembrance.  A beautiful  flower garden and it's vibrant colors can draw you to a place where your pet's cremains have been buried.  A rock or statue honoring your pet could be incorporated into this area.
  •  Scatter The Cremains.  Scattering cremains in their favorite spot can be an event as well as a memorial.  Going to a  nature trail they enjoyed hiking, a lake where they loved to swim, or a park where they loved to run and play fetch gives you a special time to say goodbye.
  •  Plant a Tree. Incorporate your  pet's cremains  in a hole dug to plant a new tree.  Or you may chose to buy an EterniTree Biodegradable Urn that incorporates the cremains with seeds that will grow into a living, thriving tree. Adding a tree to the earth in your pet's memory is  truly a "green" memorial to honor your precious pet. Visit http://ccpc.ws/urns/ to learn more about Eternitrees.
The bond you share with your pet while they are in this life will help you decide where they should rest.  Take the time to think through all of your alternatives to find the perfect method that gives you peace and comfort and honors their memory.

Are You Thinking of Spring?

Did your precious pet have the most stunning emerald eyes or love to accompany you to the St. Patrick's Day parade?  Or perhaps your Irish Wolfhound loved to frolic in the green pastures? Many cherished memories of your pet may remind you of this peaceful color, making a green urn the perfect resting place for your beloved companion.

Whether you prefer a beautiful handmade heart-shaped urn or a festive ceramic shamrock for your pet,if green is the color you prefer, you have many options available to you.
