Spring Training (Go Jays!), Spring Break, Spring Cleaning (Eve's favourite time!), Daylight Savings time(Spring Ahead!). Around the Bay road race and the maple syrup is flowing!

Bangers and Mash;   Juicy sausages and mashed(Mash) potatoes.  Try a glass of Shiraz(syrah).
Corned Beef and Cabbage ! Salty beef and tender cabbage. Pair with Pinot Noir, bright with acidity!
Fish n Chips!    The Irish prepare the chips 'steak style' or thick cut and enjoy with salt and malt vinegar! Enjoy with a nice glass of Riesling.

Recipe for March~St. Patty's day!
Creamed Spinach w/ toasted almonds
 -1 bag baby spinach
-1 and 3/4 cups bechamel sauce(see below)
-1 pkg slivered almonds
-1/4 cup chopped onion
-butter
-1/4 cup flour
-4 cups milk 
-salt and pepper to taste
1)  Saute almond slivers in 2 tbsp. butter until golden
2) Bechamel Sauce:  
-Saute 1/4 cup chopped onion in 3/4 tbsp. butter
-add 1/4 cup flour and 1/2 tsp. salt and continue to cook until golden brown
-gradually add 4 cups milk and whisk until sauce thickens
3) Steam spinach~ remove excess moisture
4) Add sauce and combine; Top with Almonds!
