Alumni Spotlight

Gil Addo '03 , co-founder of Rubicon MD, a doctor to doctor healthcare consultation platform, was recognized as one of the nation's "brightest young entrepreneurs, breakout talents, and change agents" by Forbes Magazine in its healthcare sector "30 Under 30" Class of 2016. After earning his MBA at Harvard Business School in 2011, and while working as a consultant in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, Gil says he had an "a-ha" moment that led him to begin developing a way to "operationalize" a solution for delivering specialized care at a local level. Rubicon MD, named for Julius Caesar's forbidden river crossing and signifying entry into uncharted territory, is a web-based network of healthcare providers who communicate with each other to simplify and localize patient consultation and treatment.
