Growing Together
The second page on the Faith Formation section of the CT Conference UCC website is entitled, Growing Together. Here seasoned and new leaders will find something to deepen and grow your capacities and skills for leadership. From quarterly lists of formational opportunities such as workshops, courses and various types of training to articles, resources and reflections to engage alone or with a peer, board or committee.
On occasion, you'll find suggested podcasts or talks with accompanying questions for reflection to grow in knowledge and understanding of what shapes faith.
In this interview by Ms. Cindy Cole, Digital Missioner, Ms. Dana Johnson shares her path to becoming a Faith Formation Leader. Dana is the Director of Children's Ministry at the Saugatuck Congregational Church, UCC in Westport, CT.
The New England Association of United Church Educators 46th Annual Conference will be held from May 2nd-4th 2017 at Pilgrim Pines Conference Center in nearby Swanzy, NH. Toward Common Ground is this year's theme and focus of the event!
This year the gathering includes three wonderful keynote presentations, stimulating workshops for everyone and an opportunity for racial justice training.
