Dear Members, Clients, and Friends,

They say you can't take care of others until you take care of yourself first. " Put your oxygen mask on first, before helping others." Yet whether we prefer to take care of others first or feel we have to, we tend to place ourselves last. Do you find yourself anxious, overwhelmed, stressed or chronically tired much of the time? Then it is time you take care of yourself. 

Join me as we journey through 6 Weeks of the Self-Care Wheel. The Self-Care Wheel was inspired by and adapted from the "Self-Care Assessment Worksheet" from Transforming the Pain: A Workbook on Vicarious Traumatization by Saakvitne, Pearlman & Staff of TSI/CAAP (Nortom 1996. Created by Olga Phoenix Project: Healing for Social Change (2013). The Self-Care Wheel was designed to be an empowering, affirming, and positive tool for helping people to manage stress, increase contentment, and life satisfaction.

Each week we will focus on 1 section of the wheel. The sections include: Psychological, Emotional, Spiritual, Personal, Professional, and Physical.

You do not need to think about all the sections at this time. Each week you will receive the focus. This 6 Week Challenge journey will require thought, self-reflection, and most importantly action.

Look out for the first email Monday, February 27th (this does not require registration, you will follow along on your own)
