Today, the middle school students got together for the Netsmartz safety seminar.  They learned about cyber bulling, social media awareness and keeping yourself safe.  Please take time to ask your child about safety on the Internet.  Specifically, ask them about protecting their location while surfing the net.

Yesterday, the kindergarten class celebrated the 100th day with a variety of activities that included the number 100.  My personal favorite was the craft of making a bubble gum machine with 100 bubble gums inside it.

We hope you enjoyed your conference with the teachers as much as they enjoyed sharing about your child with you.  Thank you to Parent Connections for supplying dinner on Tuesday and Thursday evening.  It was greatly appreciated.

Good luck to all of our basketball teams this weekend in St. Cloud.  Drive safely, have fun and I know you will represent our school proudly.  Go Blues!

Blessings,

Laurie Maxwell
Principal

  knitMiddle School Craft Club

Our middle school craft club is going strong! Students meet on Thursdays after school for an hour to knit or learn how to knit. Mrs. Lu Kempf and Mrs. Morgan instruct the students.  We have been making lacy dishcloths and scarves for our first projects. For those of you who remember Mrs. Kempf, she taught at St. Michael for ten years and is currently part of the Prayer Shawl Knitting Ministry at the St. Michael Parish. Students in grades 6-8 are welcome to join! There is no cost, as materials are donated by members of the church. See Mrs. Morgan for a permission slip if you are interested.
