CNYWBA celebrates Read Across America
On Thursday, March 2, thirteen CNYWBA members read stories at Main Street Early Education Program in North Syracuse, as well as Van Duyn Elementary and Le Moyne Elementary in the Syracuse City School District. Because several members read to multiple classrooms, the CNYWBA read to 21 classrooms. We also donated money and books to each school in honor of Dr. Seuss and Read Across America. It was a fun and rewarding experience, and the children were thrilled to have us there to read to them.
