Meet New RCAC Exec Director Ryan Rabea 

Ryan Rabea graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Political Science (and a minor in American History). Most recently, he served as a Field Coordinator with the Pennsylvania Republican Party, coordinating grassroots efforts in Allegheny County out of the RCAC office. He also has prior experience as a News Author with TalkAndroid.com. Ryan is very familiar with GOP Data Center database system.
 
Ryan also has experience working for PA Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick and State Representative Frank Farry.  He is a native of Levittown, a suburb of Philadelphia.

Contemplating Governing's Session 1 is now available online to help ensure that local candidates have the resources they need to get on the primary ballot. The purpose of this session is to educate candidates on the important deadlines and filing requirements they will face in order to appear on the May 16th Pennsylvania primary ballot. Republican Committee of Allegheny County Internship
Location: Green Tree, PA
Position: Part Time / Unpaid. Compensation is available for travel.  
The Republican Committee of Allegheny County is currently looking for motivated, politically interested individuals for internships. Initially, the position will require 15-20 hours a week. Certain weeks will require more time than others, depending on the political schedule. This is a great opportunity to build valuable campaign experience and establish long lasting relationships in the world of Pennsylvania politics. 

 Duties will include:
  • Coordinating events
  • Voter Contact / community outreach
  • Attending local events
  • Assisting office and campaigns

Committee Members Are the Face of the Republican Party
 
A GOP committee member is the face of the Republican Party to grassroots voters. Consequently, a committee member is often in a position to help constituents. For example, if someone has a problem or complaint or needs information, make it a point to fnd out how you and the Republican Party can be helpful. People will remember your helpfulness. After you have helped a voter, don't be afraid to ask that voter for help or a vote when you need it. The nature of our work is to be involved and to interact with members of our community. Keep abreast of the issues and concerns of your community and be sure that the candidates and officials are aware of them. Also, be sure that your community understands the concerns of the GOP candidates and officials as well. We must be model citizens.
