Evangelization, Mardi Gras style
   It's Mardi Gras time, and 20 Sisters of the Holy Family had a historic and wonderful ride in the Krewe of Femme Fatale last Sunday. The Sisters threw special beads in honor of the 175th anniversary of their founding by Mother Henriette Delille, whose cause for beatification is being taken up by the Vatican's Congregation for the Causes of Saints.

   With Lent approaching, Archbishop Gregory Aymond suggests making the spiritual practice of identifying one attitude or behavior that God could help you change over the 40 days of Lent. 

   

   A former Iraqi interpreter for the U.S. Marines is making a new life in New Orleans, paying it back by helping refugees make a new life in New Orleans through Catholic Charities.  

   Local artist Kathleen Borgatti talks about how her Catholic faith has inspired her work. 

   The Archbishop Hannan Community Appeal has exceeded its goal of $1.8 million, which will help fund Catholic Charities' programs for the needy and elderly.
