"We share this planet, our home, with millions of species. Justice and sustainability both demand that we do not use more resources than we need." - Vandana Shiva

Dear Educators,

Do you care about energy conservation, and want your classroom to commit to using energy more efficiently? You can s tart saving energy in your classroom right now with these energy saving tips, and Register today for our Green Classrooms program to engage your students in becoming stewards today!
  • Layer on another pair of socks, an extra sweater and a scarf to keep you cozy instead of turning up the thermostat.
  • Use the sun's heat to warm your house by leaving window shades or blinds open during the daytime.
  • Try washing only full loads of clothing in cold water (90% of the energy your washer uses is to heat the water!).
  • Plug items into a power strip that you can switch off when electronics are not in use.
If you're interested or have questions about our Green Classrooms Program, please feel free to reply to this email. You can also  read more about our program offerings, or  register today.
