The New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs introduces the Cultural Atlas of New Mexico, an interactive mobile app that puts New Mexico's historic and cultural points of interest in the palm of your hand. With images and descriptions of the state's museums, historic sites, artworks, events and landscapes, the app directs mobile users to attractions they might not have known about and may not realize are nearby. The City of Grants added a new drive thru roadside attraction on Route 66. This drive thru arch was erected in early June of 2016 and the official ribbon cutting happened August 6, 2016. Since then, the structure now lights up the Route every evening with LED Neon Rope lights.[read more]
