Kim S. Steward
, 57, of Wadsworth, went to heaven on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Hospice of Western Reserve, in Medina, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Kim was born March 17, 1959, in Wadsworth to Gerald and Ann (Slovisky) Wright.   She was a longtime resident of Wadsworth where she spent most of her life.   Kim is a 1977 graduate of Wadsworth High School where she excelled in long distance running on the track team.   After high school, she attended Bowling Green University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.   She was the director at Trease Road Child Care Center for many years.   Eventually, she left the Child Care Center for a career in insurance.   Kim worked at Westfield Insurance Company.   The last several years she worked at Central Insurance Company.

Kim married Brad Steward on October 28, 1995.

Kim  always saw the best in everyone.   She had so many friends that she stayed close with throughout her life.   Kim treasured watching her son, Lance, play any type of sports;  she was beyond proud of him.   Kim also loved her two puppies, Cheyanne and Gracie Marie.   She really enjoyed her shopping, decorating and traveling with her family.   We will miss Kim's adorable laughter and kind spirit. Kim has been an inspiration to all who have been fortunate enough to cross her path.   She met every challenge that life presented her with courage, determination and grace.

Kim is survived by the two loves of her life;  her spouse of 21 years, Brad Steward;  and the light of life, her son, Lance Steward.   She also leaves behind a sister, Kathy (Buck) Budinscak;  brother, Kevin (Joy) Wright;  brother-in-law, Randy (Nina) Steward;  sister-in-law, Stacey Steward;  mother-in-law, Annie Steward;  many nieces and nephews.
