Welcome Newest Member to AYAC!
AgriSafe is proud to announce our latest member to the Young Advisors Council. Katelyn Haydett, M.S. joins us from East Texas and shares why she volunteered to become a member.
"I would be delighted to volunteer with AgriSafe Youth Advisory Council to further my knowledge on the health and safety facts and procedures that educate such a wide range of individuals. The ability for AgriSafe to span across multiple disciplines resonates with me personally as I pursue my MS in Environmental Toxicology and plan to enter the public health sector (whether it be continuing within the laboratory sciences or applying for veterinary school). I believe this leadership role will help me become more involved and allow me to serve as a representative for toxicology and zoonotic disease and the role they play in supporting the AgriSafe network!"
We still have much work to do and welcome additional youth/young adults ages 16-23 to apply, to learn more about the AYAC or additional student opportunities,
