City of Kenmore Receives Complete Streets Award!

The City of Kenmore was recently awarded $500,000 by the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board. The City was nominated by Washington State Department of Transportation and Washington State Department of Commerce based on the City's efforts to improve multi-modal transportation, adopt a Complete Streets approach to transportation development, and implement a Target Zero resolution. The amount of funding was determined by the City's highly-integrated policies and track record of complete street project design and development.  The award funds will be used for the City match on the NE 202nd Street Sidewalks grant-funded project. This will make funds available for other transportation projects.
