April 22, 2017 8:30-10:35am
Rand Park Shelter House

We're celebrating Earth Day with a community clean up effort! Get your friends and families, church and youth groups, clubs and colleagues to team up and help us out! We need teams of 2-10 people to help clean up litter in designated areas around town. Teams will meet at Rand Park to get assignments and spend approximately 2 hours cleaning up before meeting back at the park at 10:30 for a group photo. Sign your team up today by contacting Kira at 524-5055 or [email protected]

KHS Geoscience students are hoping to encourage local businesses to participate in  Earth Hour 2017 !
The event takes place worldwide on  March 25th from
8:30-9:30pm. Businesses and individuals are asked to turn off all unnecessary lights and electronics for one hour. The students would like to recognize any business that participates by creating a "badge" for them to place in their window. They also invite anyone between the ages of 9 and 18 to join them for a game of
Flashlight Tag during Earth Hour at Rand Park. For more information contact Jordan Killoren at [email protected] or visit earthhour.org.
