The 15th Annual SCCS Auction "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" is right around the corner!
 
We are now accepting donations for the April 1st, 2017 event.  Every year the SCCS Auction raises money, which is used to enrich and enhance the education of our children at Sandusky Central Catholic School.  Your donation of merchandise, gift certificates, services, or cash will be greatly appreciated.  This is one of the school's largest fundraising events that benefits our teachers, children, and staff.  The success of the SCCS Auction would not be possible without you, our supporters!  Please take a moment to consider making a donation to the SCCS Auction. GOOD SHEPHERD TEACHER TRAINING THIS SUMMER
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a faith formation experience for children 3-12 years old. It is based upon the belief that young children can and do experience God. This summer, there will be a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1 Formation Course offered at Holy Angels, for those interested in teaching. SCCS PRESENTS "THE BOY FRIEND"
Sandusky Central Catholic School proudly presents "The Boy Friend." The musical is set in an English finishing school in France during the early 20th century. "The Boy Friend" follows the story of two young students who overcome many obstacles, including overbearing parents and boy crazy friends. There will be three performances held in The Kinzel Center. Showtimes are Friday, March 24 at 7:00pm and Saturday, March 25 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children and students. Tickets are available at the SCCS main entrance desk.

TLC BLOOD DRIVE
The Teen Leadership Corps class is hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday, March 13 from 10:00am - 3:00pm. The Blood Drive will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room.

TLC NEEDS YOUR POP TABS                   
The TLC class is collecting pop can tabs to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. The collection will run now through April 9. You can drop pop tabs off in the container outside of the PPC.
 
TLC GOODWILL CLOTHING DRIVE
The TLC class is sponsoring their annual Goodwill Clothing Drive March 6-16. They will be collecting gently used clothing and shoes.

PRESCHOOL & ELEMENTARY NEWS
 
HEALTHCHEK INFORMATION
According to state law, SCCS must provide our preschool families with information about Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment from Healthchek. Children enrolled in Medicaid are required to participate in this program. In addition, preschools are required to provide this information to all families. EDCHOICE SCHOLARSHIP RENEWALS
Any family who is currently receiving the EdChoice Scholarship should have received the renewal paperwork in the mail. If you have not received your renewal forms, or have questions about applying for the income- based scholarship, please contact Mrs. Snow at [email protected] or 419-626-1892, ext. 311. The first application deadline is April 30, 2017.

MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL NEWS
 
8th GRADE PARENT MEETING
There will be an 8th grade parent meeting for the upcoming trip to Washington DC on Tuesday, March 21 at 7:00 in the PPC.

COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS INFORMATION NIGHT
If you missed the College Credit Plus meeting held at SMCC in January, you may attend an Information Night hosted by BGSU Firelands on March 15 at 6:00pm in the CPC Auditorium. This is a community information night for any students or parents who are interested in learning more about the College Credit Plus program.
