Dear Volunteers,
We hope you can join us for the annual Volunteer Recognition Event! It is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy each other’s company, get to know each other and the staff, share stories from volunteer experiences, and take pride in the success of the program. It is definitely one of the highlights of the year and we hope many of you will attend!
The evening includes a buffet and a program. Volunteers are welcome to bring one guest to share in the event.
Buddy-to-Buddy Program Volunteer Recognition Event

Optional Feedback Session, 4–5:30 pm
There will be an optional informal feedback session about the Buddy-to-Buddy Program just prior to the Recognition Event that will take place from 4 to 5:30 pm. Volunteers are not required to attend, but it is a great opportunity to give your feedback on the program and to make suggestions for the future.
Travel Policy: For this social event, mileage reimbursement does not apply as it does for some of the outreach, drill, and annual training travel. If this prohibits you from attending, call us and we will work with you. Overnight lodging Saturday night is available for Volunteers traveling over 75 miles one-way.
Slideshow: In previous years, we've had a slideshow featuring pictures from your days of active duty. It would be great to add many more pictures. Please email them to us or mail hard copies (our address is listed at the bottom of this message) and we’ll include them in this year’s slideshow. We’ll return any originals, of course.
Requesting Program Supplies: The gathering is also an opportunity to pick up program supplies, such as brochures, shirts, business cards, name badges, poster boards or other program items. Requests for more business cards must be made by April 10 via the RSVP form.
