IMPORTANT TRAVEL DISCLOSURE: All students are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to/from their conference. We ask that you submit your travel information to ensure quick and safe pick from the airport, train and/or bus stations if needed. Please note that our program tuition does not automatically include transportation services (pick-up/drop-off); All program sites require a $45 round trip shuttle fee, in order to use the NHI/university shuttle services from the airport/train/bus to the campus. This fee will ensure NHI’s transportation services with an accompanied staff member if the student is delayed, has an unexpected flight change or arrives before/after the regular shuttle service schedule.

NHI and university shuttles will run regularly during designated times that are indicated. Please be aware that if your student is arriving before the designated time they may have to wait 1-2 hours for an NHI staff person to arrive. We recommend that they locate an eatery and wait in the terminal before heading to baggage claim since the first meal we serve on the program’s start date will be dinner. Students and families are welcome to make private arrangements to/from the university and airport/train/bus station if they’d like. If you choose this option, please inform us of those plans so that we are prepared to welcome your child.

In the information below, NHI indicates the city and designated locations for pick up and drop off. On the program start/end date, NHI and university staff will be present, accessible to greet students and guide them through check-in/check-out. NHI staff will also be in the baggage claim area during the designated times wearing colorful t-shirts that say “Great Debate/LDZ/CWS” or and signs that say “NHI.”

All program sites require a $45 round trip shuttle fee, in order to use the NHI/university shuttle services from the airport/train/bus to the campus.

ARRIVALS: NHI will pick up students who arrive to their designated terminals no later than 2:45pm (14:45). The first shuttle “pick up” will begin at 12:00pm. Early arrivals can feel free to relax, get something to eat, and wait in the baggage claim area. We highly recommend that when possible, students take packaged snacks and/or plan to purchase lunch in the airport. The first meal served is dinner at approximately 5:00pm (17:00).

DEPARTURES: NHI will drop off all students at airports, train stations, and bus stations no earlier than 12:00pm. Departing flights should be scheduled at 2:00pm (14:00) or later to provide time for flight check-in, baggage drop-off, passing through security and arriving to the designated gate.

It will be the responsibility of the student and family to arrange for a shuttle or taxi to and from the university should you schedule your arrival or departure outside of our designated times or if you fail to update your travel schedule online by the deadline of Monday, May 15, 2017.
