HOW DO YOU HELP NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS?
When a nonprofit organization finds itself in a sticky governance situation, the board will usually reach out to another nonprofit or government program for help. Currently in Alberta there is no "one-stop" referral source to point organizations to the most appropriate support for their specific problem. The Alberta Non-Profit Governance Initiative - a partnership of nonprofit support agencies and government - is working to build a tool for supporting organizations in need.
If your organization offers governance advice, resources or referrals please complete a short
survey about your programs and services. The information you provide will help to develop a comprehensive referral list.

Volunteer/Work Opportunities for Seniors

PARTICIPANTS FOR PHOTO SHOOT
The Edmonton Seniors Coordinating Council is seeking seniors age 55+ to participate in a photo shoot. The photos will be used for a new Edmonton seniors website and related marketing material.
People are needed for three hours during the week of March 6 - 10. Photo locations will include Edmonton landmarks, outdoor locations such as the river valley and indoor locations such as a coffee shop.
