Take the pledge to Change the Current

Little things that you do every day can add up and make a big difference for our community. Together, we can create a bright future for Colorado Springs.
Take the pledge to make small changes in your home. You can pledge to be more energy efficient, use water wisely, be safer or sign up for one of our eServices.

Everyone who takes the pledge will receive a 4-pack of LED bulbs in the mail. Additionally, c ustomers pledging to Change the Current will be entered into monthly drawings for Change the Current prize packs and quarterly drawings for $500 gift certificates to home improvement stores.

Leaks can run, but they can't hide
Are you ready to chase down leaks? Across the United States household leaks can waste more than 1 trillion gallons of water annually, so each year we hunt down the drips during Fix a Leak Week.

The Environmental Protection Agency's ninth annual Fix a Leak Week takes place from March 20-26, but remember that you can find and fix leaks inside and outside your home to save valuable water and money all year long. Learn how to find and fix leaks -- and save a little green -- on the EPA's WaterSense website.
Customer-focused improvements made to phone system

We recently made improvements to our phone system
-- most notably the Interactive Voice Response or IVR. That's the system you can access to manage different aspects of your service through an automated system.  One of the biggest features of the upgrade enhances what you can do over the phone regarding your utilities service or account 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A few of the improvements to the automated IVR system include:

1.  Verification - You can verify your identity automatically and will not have to re-verify your identity if you do need to be transferred to a representative.
2.  Account number - If you simply need your account number, whether to make an online payment or create an online account, you can do it automatically.
3.  Pay plan - If you qualify, you can create a pay plan automatically without having to talk to a representative.
4.  Outage - You can report and check the status of an electric outage and even request a call back when power has been restored.
5.  Payment - You can transfer directly to Kubra to make a payment to your account.

You can reach the new IVR phone system by calling 719-448-4848.
