Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Volunteers Needed This Weekend

We need lots of help to set up, decorate and then take down for Mardi Gras this week.  Please look over the times below and see if you can help out - especially for a couple hours on Sunday, but Thursday, Friday and Saturday Friday evenings we need a little more help too.

There are many things to accomplish on each shift.  Snacks and beverages will be available.  The chairperson for each area will be there to direct the projects but we need lots of hands to accomplish it all.

  • Thursday, February 23, 6-9 p.m.: Assist with decorating, hanging signs, wall décor, ceiling décor. Blow up balloons for balloon arch and towers (air compressor).  Hundreds of balloons needed total.
  • Friday, February 24, 6-9 p.m.: Finish up decorating. Finish balloon blowing, assemble arch and towers. Bring auction items from storage and arrange in order. Skirt all tables in halls and gathering space. Set up Live Auction display area.
  • Saturday, February 25, 8 a.m.-Noon: Decorate bathrooms. Touch up all areas.  Prepare bar supplies. Set out décor on silent auction tables. Display silent auction items.
  • Saturday, February 25, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.: Whatever last minute things need to be finished!
  • Saturday, February 25, 4:15-11:45 p.m.: A few servers to assist the professional servers with bringing food to tables and picking up the plates from the tables. Another group to sell raffle tickets, heads and tails necklaces, work the coat check, etc.
  • Sunday, February 26, 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.: TAKE DOWN of everything we put up for the event.  You can set whatever time you are able to arrive and must leave - do not have to sign up for whole time if you are unable to.
We thank you in advance for volunteering! Please email Mary Jane Beberg if you know of a shift that works for you. High school students are welcome to work with their parents or confirmation leaders and fill their service hours also.

Be part of a group to foster a deeper faith experience that focuses on the JOY and RICHNESS of our faith through study sessions using today's top Christian Music selections.

Each session includes two songs, the first contains the primary Christian messages and themes that we'll study, celebrate and grow from. The second song will be a "can't miss, uplifting and encouraging selection" to inspire us to go forth and do "...the good works that God has prepared in advance..." (Eph. 2:10) with joyful hearts full of gratitude.

Join us March 1 during the abbreviated evening Faith Formation session (due to Ash Wednesday Mass), to explore our faith through music. For more information, click here.
