In our continued effort to keep you current on our local real estate market, we are providing 2016 statistics and 2017 projections. Our new year is beginning with a higher activity level than we have seen in more than 9 years!  Single family homes and especially new construction is leading the way, and horse farms and land are following. Currently in "Horse Country," 14 horse farms are listed for sale, 6 horse farms are under contract, and 12 land tracts have sold in the last year to date.

Both locally and nationally, 2017 projections boast diminishing inventory and pricing in all segments of the market gradually increasing.  Additionally, the National Association of Realtors is projecting 3 mortgage rate increases this year, which will encourage buyers to get off the fence and move forward with future real estate purchases.

2017 Projections
We are very optimistic about 2017 and believe that we will see record sales.  Optimism both locally and nationally is allowing buyers to make decisions about their future plans and home buying needs.  2017 so far reflects 296 transactions with over $65M in real estate sold, that's up by over $8M from this time last year. We have continued to increase our marketing strategies and add to our new interactive website so that we may continue to be a leader in sales and provide the very best services and exposure to our clients.  Our website analytics and marketing experts guide us as to the best areas to target buyers so we're able to touch and connect for the best results.
