Community Connections Corner
This Month's featured Community Connections post is addressed to the Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy Community where a member asks:
I am a registered instructor and certified ESMHL working at a premier accredited center in Acme, PA. I have a master's in clinical mental health counseling and am working toward my LPC hours on a part-time basis. We are looking to get an EFP program off the ground at our center. I am seeking guidance on how to begin this process. In addition, I am specifically seeking a mentor or even a licensed supervisor who could provide guidance on clinical activities, whether it is in person or electronic.
If you have any advice to help this member, please click here to log into PATH Intl. Community Connections and join the discussion.

Interactive Vaulting Certification Program Updates
As part of the 2016 goals of the PATH Intl. Interactive Vaulting Certification Subcommittee, a new interactive vaulting instructor online exam has been launched for 2017. Mirroring PATH Intl. Advanced Instructor Certification procedures, the interactive vaulting exam will be closed book, timed and proctored. Candidates MUST complete the exam prior to attending an on-site certification in 2017 and forward. The exam includes topics covered in the on-site PATH Intl. Interactive Vaulting workshop, so candidates are advised to take the exam AFTER completing an on-site workshop to ensure success.
Also for 2017, the PATH Intl. Interactive Vaulting Certification Subcommittee and Certification Oversight Committee have increased the time allowed for candidate teaching demonstrations at certification. In order to allow candidates to more comprehensively demonstrate their interactive vaulting teaching skills, the demonstration duration has been increased from 20 to 30 minutes.
