We are very pleased to have Dr. Christoph Bull here to offer a concert of exciting and diverse music that will demonstrate the full depth and breadth of the musical capabilities of this wonderful instrument. The concert is free to all and open to the public. Special thanks go out to the Verdin Company for generously sponsoring this event. A free will offering will be taken, with all proceeds going to support our young people who will be travelling to Haiti this summer to serve.
The Verdin three manual organ has 54 pipe stops that are tonally independent. With multiple organists, each can create their own desired registrations. The Prince of Peace installation is comprised of ten audio channels (compared to four on our old organ) with all stops sounding in multiple audio channels for maximum pipe organ realism. This is really a wonderful upgrade to our worship experience!
The process of acquiring a new organ has been a long time coming, as we first began more than five years ago. This dream became a reality through the financial gifts of many individuals and families whose passion for music and congregational song led them to participate in this endeavor.
