Cancer Care has received renewed funding from  The New York Community Trust, which will be used to provide  direct financial assistance to New Yorkers affected by cancer.

Register for Healing Hearts 2017

Each year, children, teens and parents who have experienced the loss of a loved one to cancer come together at Cancer Care 's Healing Hearts Family Bereavement Camp

This free retreat combines fun activities such as swimming and horseback riding with therapeutic grief activities to provide emotional support. 

 
Greenwich Walk/Run for Hope

Cancer Care is kicking off the spring event season with our Fifth Annual Greenwich Walk/Run for Hope!  Join us on Sunday, April 2 at Greenwich Point Park to support community members who are coping with cancer and raise funds for Cancer Care 's free services.

The event will feature a USATF certified and sanctioned 5K race along a scenic route, as well as a children's fun run.

CancerCare Social Workers Present on Hospice and Palliative Care

CancerCare's oncology social workers showcased their expertise at the 2017 Social Work Hospice and Palliative Care Network (SWHPN) General Assembly.

Topics included honoring loss as a community, supporting families with young children during end-of-life care, and drawing upon personal experience to support clients.
