From the Executive Director |
Dear Friends,
Where you treasure life, so is your heart.
For all of us here at Reeves-Reed Arboretum, our hearts are filled with the burgeoning life before us. Evidence of spring (i.e. our ubiquitous daffodils) greets us every day, and with that, promises of what's in store over the next months.
To that end, our staff is eagerly preparing for events like the next Put the 'Pub' in Public Garden wine tasting (April 7, wines from Bordeaux), Daffodil Day (April 23), ART in the Garden (June 10) and various workshops, trips, camps, concerts, and evening strolls.
As we come out of our cocoons of winter and shake off the slumber of hibernation, the call to action for all of us is to connect to your community! Reeves-Reed Arboretum is your community. Open your hearts - come to the Arboretum - treasure life. We are eager to welcome you.
Cheers,
P.S. Membership to Reeves-Reed Arboretum insures that what you treasure in life is sustained. If you're not already a member, why not join today! Please

Put the 'Pub' in Public Garden Wines from Bordeaux |
Wine Tasting with Chateau Couchebout
Friday, April 7 from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm
"A wine without a soul is just a beverage." Why not take a wine taster's virtual tour of France, with a special stop in Bordeaux, at Reeves-Reed Arboretum's Put the 'Pub' in Public Garden Wine Tasting?
"Walk" with us through the hills of the French countryside while sampling wines from the lovely artisanal boutique vineyard, Chateau Couchebout. Nestled in the southwest corner of France and set amongst 20 acres of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Sauvignon Blanc, the wines at this vineyard are grown, harvested and bottled, by hand, in small batches on the property, insuring beautiful density, delicate perfumes, silky soft tannins and balance. This attention to detail and quality is rivaled by none.
The wines from famed Chateau Couchebout, paired with a selection of fine cheeses and authentic French charcuterie and bread, will make this an evening not to be missed!
