Update on Chamber President & CEO, Dave Hauser
Chamber President and CEO Dave Hauser has been a pillar in our business community for 25 years. In that time, he has made an incredible impact and worked tirelessly on our public policy and economic development plans. His current project, however, is a personal one.  As you may know, Dave is on extended medical leave battling cancer.  We anticipate and look forward to his return later this year.

In the interest of moving the mission of the Chamber forward and supporting our members in Dave's absence, the Board appointed Brittany Quick-Warner as interim CEO of the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce. She has been with the Chamber for nearly four years and in that time has built critical relationships, developed a deep understanding of our community and has demonstrated her ability to confidently advocate on behalf of local businesses. Dave is one of Brittany's biggest advocates and will be available to her as a consultant while he is away.

As we respect Dave's medical leave and turn to Brittany for leadership over the coming months, please contact Brittany with comments, questions and ideas related to the Chamber.  Our staff is available to help as well.  If you would like to send Dave a personal message, you are welcome to use his Chamber email

Thank you for your ongoing support of the work Dave has championed for so many years. He is famous for saying, "Onward!" and that is just what we are doing in his absence.

We are pleased to host our second Women Business Leaders event of 2017: Leaving with Love - knowing when to stay and when to go with Sarai Johnson, Principal, Lean Nonprofit, LLC.

Sarai is a nonprofit management maven, creative entrepreneur, and best-selling author who has spent more than a decade managing nonprofit programs, people, and projects.  She will be delving into the sticky matters of career plateaus, untenable positions and jobs that slowly chip away at our confidence, joy and energy.  How do we become better versions of ourselves and what if this self-improvement requires letting go or leaving?

Come hear how to make significant changes in your life with integrity, love, compassion and determination.  You'll also make connections with some of the other outstanding woman business leaders in Lane County!
