Leprechaun Dash March 23rd

Despite the rain we enjoyed yet another successful Multicultural night on February 10th. Thanks again to the Multicultural night committee Tijen Loubert, Sabine Powell and Steph Walker for all their hard work organizing the event! 

Our next big event is coming soon! We are excited to partner with APEX for our all new Leprechaun Dash on March 23rd. This will be Tulita PTAs largest fundraiser this year and we're confident our kiddos will have so much fun learning and training with our coaches from APEX before and during the event itself!

There will be more information coming home to update you on how we're preparing our students for the jog-a-thon and how you can support Tulita PTA.

Membership Update

What an amazing basketball contest we had!  Congratulations to Sunil Mukhey, Nathan's dad!  He made the shot from half court! We loved hearing the excitement students had as they cheered for all of the participants.  It was rewarding to see 23 dad's take time out of their day to support Tulita's PTA, and we received 9 new members because of the contest! We are now 524 members strong! Thanks to all our PTA members. Your support, your voice and your participation continues to strengthen Tulita!

Who wants to "Be a Hero for the Arts" to sign up for our Arts Education Committee?

Do you believe the art is an integral part of a complete education for every child?  Do you have a passion for or a career in the arts?  Have the arts benefited your child? 

If so, we'd love for you to be involved in Tulita PTA's Arts Education Committee and be part of the first RBUSD school to implement this important advocacy group.  We welcome all levels of time commitment and contributions.

Hands On Art Fundraiser

Please support the Tulita Hands On Art program by ordering a tote bag showcasing your child’s beautiful artwork. 

A portion of the proceeds from the bags will be used to buy the supplies the children use for this highly successful program.

2016/2017 Honorary Service Awards

Do you know an amazing volunteer at Tulita?

The PTA wants to hear about those that go above and beyond for our school, our children, and our community! Please take a moment and let’s honor those who are giving back to our great Tulita Family!!

Please help nominate candidates for the following:

  •  Honorary Service Award (H.S.A.) – To recognize an individual or organization for outstanding service to children and youth in our community, going above and beyond what is asked of them. This person has given continuously of their volunteer time to benefit our children. The HSA recipient will be selected by a nominating committee and forwarded to Redondo Beach PTA Council for approval. The award will be given at a Redondo Beach Awards Night in May.
  •  Very Special Person Award (V.S.P.) – This award is given to an individual or organization for their volunteer service to our PTA. The VSP recipient(s) will be selected by the award nominating committee and honored by Tulita at the May PTA Meeting.
  • Continuing Service Award (C.S.A.) – This award is given to recognize an individual or organization for ongoing or long-time service to children and youth, providing support year after year.
  • Outstanding Teacher Award / Outstanding Administrators Award – This award is given to a teacher/administrator who goes beyond their paid routine assignments.
