Purim Masquerade Ball for Adults

In the Book of Esther, we read that Purim is a time for "feasting and merrymaking," as well as for "sending gifts to one another and presents to the poor". In addition to reading the M'gillah (Book of Esther), celebrants dress in costumes, have festive parties, send baskets of food (mishloach manot) to friends and give gifts to the poor. We will be doing all that and more.  For just $18 per person, you will enjoy a Mediterranean dinner,  adult beverages, music by DJ Jonathan and prizes for the costume  contest. to Jews Today"

Marking the 500th Anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation, Dr. Vitor Westhelle, professor of systematic theology at Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago (LSTC) will visit the Oklahoma City metro March 24 - 26, and is speaking at Temple B'nai Israel during Shabbat Worship Services. 

Westhelle, a Lutheran parish pastor for four years in his native Brazil, has been teaching at LSTC since 1993. A prolific writer and editor, with more than 130 scholarly publications, Westhelle is author or co-editor of 9 books and is currently co-authoring a book on Martin Luther with a Rabbi in Jerusalem. Following services, get a cookie and come for Q&A in the lounge with 

Dr. Westhelle. 

Dr. Westhelle joins us through the generosity of Pastor Roger Bruns and Trinity Lutheran Church in Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoma City University Film Institute's documentary series will open its 19th year at 2:00 pm March 26, with Marcie Begleiter's new film "Eva Hesse" in the Kerr McGee Auditorium of Meinders School of Business. The school is located at N.W. 27th Street and McKinley Avenue.

cut trees around the chiller;  m ake new sand bags and store in boiler room;  f ix pictures in upstairs hallway education wing;  c lean supply vents
