2015 was busy and, happily, for Rockville Economic Development, Inc (
REDI) and the Maryland Women's Business Center (
MWBC), 2016 looks to be even more so.
REDI is looking forward to expanding information and resources through our website, blogs, and social media, as well as through multiple events.
Our Annual
Business Appreciation Week is scheduled for
March 7 - 11. Check out the information below if your Rockville City business is interested in participating.
Also slated for later this year are the
Commercial Broker Breakfast (CBB) and the
REDI Resource Meetup (R2M). Don't forget we have the on-going "Rockville Works for Me" ad campaign sponsored by
Capital Bank, where we highlight local businesses in the Local Living section of the Washington Post, and out Tuesday 2 Cents, if you want to be a guest blogger.
So much to look forward to with REDI in 2016. And, if you missed what happened in 2015, just check out the
Clip O' the Month below for our
Year End Review.
MWBC also has an exciting year ahead.
In 2016, MWBC plans to expand their geographic reach in the State, and to diversify their program offerings.
Also, in honor of their Fifth Anniversary, they have launched their "Step Up for Women Entrepreneurs" Campaign with a goal of raising $100,000 from individuals and businesses by October 2016. If you'd like to pledge your support, visit
