A closed space for Queer and Trans People of Color (QTPOC) to take some time for themselves and relax. We will be turning the LGBT Resource Center into the ultimate relaxation spot with plenty of activities to help destress. Please come in your comfy clothes!







Out and Proud Program Submission

Out and Proud Week presents the largest opportunity for community visibility on the UC San Diego campus. It is a week-long opportunity, to be in community, learn about the community, and reflection on the struggles and achievements of LGBTQIA-identified students, staff, and faculty and our allies. 

The LGBT Resource Center is doing a call out for programs, events, educational opportunities, and gatherings that represent the mission of Out and Proud Week.

Express Yourself
Thursdays

A BRAVE SPACE to express your queerness in art form.
Materials will be provided. No artistic experience
necessary.




Queer Meditation Circle and Conversation
Fridays
2-3pm, Cross-Cultural Center, Tranquility Room

A meditation space for students who identify as queer. We will have mindfulness meditation, journeywork, healing exercises, etc. Come for the meditation, stay for the conversation.



Please join us for our spring networking event for LGBTQ graduate students, postdocs and professionals at all career levels. 

This event is 21+ and IDs will be checked. This event typically has around 50-80 attendees.









  
10th Annual Queer and Asian Conference 
Fri. April 28th - Sun. April 30th

We are now opening registration for the 10th annual Queer and Asian Conference ! We encourage queer Asians and our allies from everywhere to come attend. This year's theme for QACON17 is Enough. As such, we will be exploring, reflecting, and learning about our community and identities to empower, heal, and fight for ourselves, our community, and other marginalized communities.
 
QACON  admission is open to any individual who expresses interest in the issues or the community, and the entire conference - registration, volunteer housing, keynote speakers, workshops, and two included meals - is completely free .

The Victory Institute invites outstanding LGBT young professionals to apply to the Victory Congressional Fellowship for 2017-2018!
 
The Victory Congressional Fellowship, a year-long, full-time congressional fellowship beginning July 2017, is accepting applications through March 10.
 
The Victory Institute will bring an emerging LGBTQ leader to Washington, D.C., for a year-long intensive fellowship. The fellow will support the executive director of the LGBT Congressional Equality Caucus, co-chaired by six of the openly LGB members of Congress.
 
Applications for the 2017-2018 Fellowship are due Friday, March 10 - find out more and apply now here.
 
The Fellowship is open to recent graduates of all genders, orientations, abilities, races, political affiliations, academic majors and degrees (including those other than political science). Applicants must have graduated from an accredited undergraduate or graduate program within the last three years (as of May 27, 2014).

framework on defining your dreams and visions will provided.
Goals are short-term, but dreams and vision are more difficult to
focus on and plan out. A certified Dream Coach®, Stephanie
Wong, will provide you with the tools and framework necessary
to plot a path for your dreams!


Rape Culture & Reproductive Justice: A Feminist PerspectiveGJ will feature a panel of distinguished speakers and YouTube sex educator Laci Green. The event will take place from 7 PM - 9:30 PM in Montezuma Hall in the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union. 



Lunch in Havana

The Cubanidad Student org and OASIS are hosting a lunch featuring Cuban food, music and entertainment, as well as a Cuban themed silent auction and opportunity drawing the day of the event.

All proceed will help to fun UCSD undergraduates make a historic educational trip to Havana, Cuba during spring break 2017.

BlaqOut Conference

The three day conference is designed to create a networking, empowerment and critical community building opportunity for folks within the Black/African Diaspora and LGBTQIA+ community. This is a structured conference featuring workshops from undergraduate and graduate scholars, staff, community members and activists with identities within the BlaQueer Diaspora. 

We would like to announce that this year's BlaqOut Conference registration will be free. The theme of this years conference is I Love My BlaQness and Yours Too!
