The Woodlands Farmer's Market Saturdays 8a-12p

Spring is in the air.  As we approach spring time, the Farmer's Market is reaching its peak season.  Grab a friend and stop out this Saturday.  We will have 30+ vendors with a wide variety of goods for sale along with Victorio Menghi playing his diverse portfolio of music.

As a reminder The Woodlands Marathon this weekend will come down Grogan's Mill around 7am, however, this is the beginning of the route so the Farmer's Market should not be affected.  We are open 8 am - 12pm.

Profits from the Farmer's Market vendor fees are returned to the community through the Grogan's Mill Village Association's philanthropic programs. These programs include, but are not limited to, college scholarships, support of Grogan's Mill CISD schools along with donations to a variety of community organizations.

East Shore Resident Concerns

A number of residents in the Grogan's Mill neighborhood of East Shore have reported close calls with motor vehicles in the early morning hours of the work week.  It has been reported by several residents that the construction workers are speeding and disregarding posted traffic signage with regularity.   The Township has been made aware of the situation and is working with their management to direct the contractors to slow down and adhere to applicable Texas motor vehicle laws.  Local Law Enforcement authorities will monitor the situation closely.

Earth Day GreenUp, Saturday, March 25, 2017
**VOLUNTEERS NEEDED**
Earth Day 2017 marks the 7th annual community-wide stewardship project for The Woodlands Township.  Each year Village Associations are awarded funds to contribute to their philanthropic programs based on participation.  In 2016 Grogan's Mill had 57 residents participate.  As a goal we are hoping that just 1% of our Village or 149 people sign up and participate this year.

You can connect with neighbors and the outdoors by joining or leading a cleanup crew bagging trash from the streets, pathways and streams. You gather your friends, and we provide the bags! Annually, volunteers remove the equivalent of 4500 pounds or 76 of our 96-gallon trash carts!

Volunteers ( pre-registered and walk-up registrations) can check-in Saturday, March 25, 2017, from 8 to 10 a.m. at   Sawmill Park, 2200 Millpark Drive. Pick up supplies for yourself and/or group and receive a map to your designated cleanup site.

For more information and to register, visit The Woodlands Township website.
