Traditions Give Sense of History
Sharing traditions with millions of Girl Scouts and our network of alumnae reminds girls they belong to a powerful sisterhood.
On March 12, we celebrate the 105th birthday of Girl Scouts and the start of Girl Scout Week. These milestones offer a wonderful opportunity to make history fun with a troop birthday or anniversary party!
Girls are invited to honor their faith on Girl Scout Sunday (March 12) or Girl Scout Sabbath (March 18) by attending their place of worship and working with their spiritual leader to earn religious recognitions.
