Things are really ramping up here at Topaz Quilting & Embroidery. We are starting to pack up our back room and get all the non-
essential
items ready for the move. However, we're not the only ones on the move. Due to unseen
circumstances
, our friends at A Stitch of Country had to make a very quick move as well. The building that they were operating out of was closed and they were no longer able to operate out of it. They have since moved and are open for business. If you get out to Fernley, please check out their new location: 15 East Main St. Suite 1, Fernley, NV 89408. Please let your friends know that they're open and ready for business.
However, that isn't all the crazy news going on out in the quilting-verse. As you may know, we were planning on moving to our new location starting in April 2017. Well, thanks to the lightning speed of the contractor and the great help we've been receiving, our move in date has been moved up. We're expecting to move in around March 18, 2017. Talk about blowing us over with a feather! Our location is going to be at 770 Smithridge Dr. #100, Reno, NV 89502 (A business park behind the Trader Joe's & Stein Mart Shopping Center)
We are ramping up to crazy now. We have a couple of groups meeting in our shop the first couple weeks of March. We are still going to host them at the current location as well as the Celebration of Life Event. Please note that we hope to hold the Kimberbell class for the Peek-A-Boo Bunny Tea Towel at the new location. We should be mostly in by then with a few boxes left to unpack. We will try to make this move as easy as possible for both our customers & friends. Stay tuned and I'll keep you updated on how we're progressing . . .

March Madness Sale . . .
I know it's the old
cliche
' that March means Crazy Sale Time. However, in our case, it really is crazy. With us having to move, we are trying to lighten our load before heading over to the new location. We're hoping you can help!
Since we really don't want to move a bunch of product over to the new location, we're offering 20% off all regular priced items and 5% off all sales priced items. We'll be holding this sale until we close to move into the new location, so we're looking at a short amount of time while this sale is going on. Once we move, this sale is over.
This sale only applies to stock on hand and must be purchased at the 1000 Bible Way, #11 shop. Web orders do not apply.

Celebration of Life . . .
Many of you may know of the recent passing of our dear friend Kathy Stanley. Nothing has really been done in a way of a memorial and we really feel we need to do something to say goodbye and honor Kathy's life. We will be holding a small get together at our shop. If you would like to bring your stories, projects and fond memories to share with us, we'd love to see you.

Help Us With A Question . . .
We have been debating about what hours we want to be open once we move into the new shop. We know we'll be open Mon - Sat. We know we want to open at 10:00 am every day, but what time do we want to close. We want to make it convenient for both you, our friends and customers and for our staff. Special Shop Days Closed
Saturday, March 11th - 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm - Kathy Stanley's Celebration of Life Event - shopping during this time may be very difficult. We will be rearranging the shop to hold a group of people. Product may not be accessible during this time.
Moving days are expected to be between Wednesday, March 15 through Saturday, March 18th. We are not sure of the dates so please call ahead to make sure we're available.
