AROUND THE VILLA
Congratulations on Your Retirement, Delma!
Light of Hearts Villa was pleased to honor nurse Delma Garrett at her retirement party on February 8th. Delma spent 16 years as an invaluable member of the LOHV Wellness team, beloved by residents and staff alike for her integrity, kindness, humor, and down-to-earth personality. Congratulations and good luck, Delma!

Villa Blessings
Two very special occasions took place on February 13th-the Mass for the Anointing of the Sick and the blessing of the Villa's new Wellness Department offices. At the beautiful Anointing of the Sick service, LOHV resident Father Bill led residents and staff in prayer.
Later that afternoon, LOHV staff gathered to ask God's blessings on our newly remodeled Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati Wellness Department. Sr. Joan Cook, SC President of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati, sent a beautiful letter congratulating the Villa.

February Birthday Bash
Happy Birthday wishes went out to Villa resident Mary Agnes, who celebrated her 99th birthday this month. Mary Agnes received a special birthday proclamation from Bedford Mayor Stan Koci and Councilwoman Marilyn Zolata, and enjoyed sweet treats at the Birthday Bash with her family.

Our best wishes go  out to all residents who celebrated birthdays this month.

Valentine's Day at the Villa
This month, the Villa was truly "light of heart"! Not only did residents and staff celebrate Valentine's Day at a party complete with games and musical entertainment, but they also donned red clothing on the American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" Day.

By wearing red, LOHV residents and staff showed their support for cardiovascular health awareness.

February Festivities with Notre Dame Volunteers
LOHV residents always look forward to "Game Night" visits from our Notre Dame student volunteers, and this month was no different! The student volunteers brought lots of Valentine's-themed fun for everyone!

Tea With Betty

Residents enjoyed tea, treats, and conversation with Betty.
