Bring in this flyer or mention "Puesta del Sol" to your server and Resonate will donate a portion of the total check to Puesta del Sol PTA.
Purchases include dine in, take out, and all beverages.

Art Fest is Coming- Wednesday, March 8th, 6:30pm-8pm

The Art Appreciation Committee brings you Art Fest -- aka Gallery Night. Come join us for Art, Music, Food and Fun!!!
There will be displays of art appreciation projects for every class.
* Come see the Self-portraits that all students made with SITA visiting artist Adriana Morales which will be on display. * Sra. Rose and the Marimba Bands will be playing (6:30-7:30pm) * Sra. Brody is hosting poetry readings in the library. * The Garden Club will have stone painting. * Sra. Lopez-Kimball's class will be running a spin art station. * The 5th Grade Events Committee is hosting a bake and pizza sale. * Learn about how the Art Appreciation Committee teamed up with the Health Enhancement Committee. The Amity Committee is looking for host families for the 2017-18 school year! Now is the time to complete and submit an Amity Host Application. Applications for 2017-18 can be found
HERE. Deadline for submission is April 28th, 2017.
If you are on the fence about hosting or have questions about what is involved in hosting, please reach out to our
Amity Committee as we are happy to answer any questions you might have.

yearbook chairs are in the final weeks of building pages for the
yearbook, and hope you will share your BEST
photos!
We welcome you to send up to 5 images to
yearbook@puestadelsolpta.org
. If you have more than 5 to share, please email us for further directions.
Minimum file size accepted is 1MB. Preferably 2-5 faces in
photo. We are especially in need of classroom specific candid photos, but welcome any of your BEST candid photos.

International Festival is Coming- April 1st, 6-8pm.

We are looking forward to our upcoming International Festival!
This i
s the culminating event of the school year where our students come together to perform cultural dances, songs, and music taught by volunteer and paid members of our International Spanish Academy community, staff, and families.
There is a need for a variety
of volunteers to make this event a success. Please consider lend
ing your time and talents to the IF committee.

Our Science Fair and Family STEM Night will be

The Puesta del Sol Science Fair & Family STEM Night will be the evening of
May 10
th, so it's time to start planning and collecti
ng data for any projects that depend on measurement over several months. While it
may be cold and damp outside, you can start growing plants inside so they're fully grown by May.

The March El Sol Publications will occur on Mon 3/13 and Mon 3/27.
We are also in need of an Assistant Editor for the El Sol.
