CHANGE OF PLANS AHEAD, help us spread the word! March 3rd we were scheduled for a 2 hr late arrival, but that is being changed to an early dismissal. That is the same day we are hosting the SW Ohio District Wrestling Tournament in our Gym. Between 1 PM and 3 PM 2000-3000 fans, as well as 225 Wrestlers and Coaches, will be arriving for the 2 day event. 

To avoid the traffic jam and problems getting buses and kids out after school, we will be changing the 2 hour late arrival to an early dismissal. Schools will start at their regular times. Please help us get the word out to all of our families as the date gets nearer.

It's hard to believe, but it's already time to register the class of 2030 for Kindergarten!

Registration opens March 1, 2017.  Any child who is five years old on or before September 30, 2017 is eligible to attend kindergarten this fall.  If a parent or guardian is unsure whether or not to send the child to kindergarten, the district asks that the child be registered anyway to help predict enrollment.

The end of our 3rd grading period is March 9th and that means report cards are just around the corner!  We invite all parents to schedule a conference for their elementary student or plan on stopping by our Middle School and High School Report Card Fairs.  

You'll have a chance to see how your child is progressing, talk to their teachers one-on-one, and ask questions.  It's a great way to get involved in your child's success!

Call now to reserve your tickets for this year's WHS Spring Musical, GODSPELL (2012 REVISED VERSION).

GODSPELL is written by Stephen Schwartz (creator of Wicked, Children of Eden, Pippin, etc.) as a rock musical adaptation of the gospel according to St. Matthew. For those of you who have seen the show before, this 2012 revised version of the show still has all of the songs you know and love but with an updated edgier rock sound (more cowbell!)

The show will run  March 17 & 18 at 7:30 and March 19 at 2:30 in the WHS Auditeria. Tickets are $12 and can be paid in advance or at the door after a reservation has been made. This show is appropriate for ages 3 years and up.

 - The Wilmington Athletic Boosters is happy to announce our Gala Event for April 29th, 2017, at the Roberts Centre. Our theme for this year will be a Derby Gala, complete with video horse races, auctions, music, dancing, games and fine dining.

Our sole purpose is to raise funds to support many of the endeavors of our student-athletes in our district and we have always counted on the support of our members, parents, administrators and the students themselves to help us provide for these opportunities and more.

We have worked hard this year to overcome last year's deficit, recreate our budget, overhaul our organizational structure and review and enhance some of the processes in place, one of which included bringing back our Gala event. This is an opportunity for us to spend an entertaining evening, get dressed up, share as friends and raise funds for our athletes.

We also have sponsorship opportunities that you can invest on for your place of business or as a family; we have three levels of sponsorship ranging from $150 - $1,000 with multiple venues for advertising for your investment. If you prefer to make a direct donation in support of this event or supporting the organization at large, we will be happy to provide receipts for your donations for tax related purposes.

So please join us! Tickets are $50 and that covers dinner and tickets for two of our six races, if you choose to participate in them. Tickets will be on sale from February 22- April 3. Tickets will be available for sale at our concessions during games, with Donna Seeger at the Athletics' Department office, or by reaching any of our officers through email, Facebook, or personally.

Spring is in the air and state testing is on the schedule.  Each building, elementary through high school, has released their spring testing schedules so that parents can plan ahead.  It's helpful if parents are able to avoid scheduling appointments for students that take them out of school on state testing days.
