AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free, individualized tax preparation for low-to moderate-income taxpayers, especially those 50 and older at more than 5,000 locations nationwide.

Tax Help in Colorado from The Piton Foundation
Free tax preparation assistance resources are available to families who earned less than about $55,000 in 2016. Called Tax Help Colorado - these are free tax preparation sites typically open from January through the tax filing deadline, and the days and hours of operation vary by site. Most sites operate on a first-come, first-served basis. These services are offered through The Piton Foundation. You can also dial 2-1-1 to find a free tax preparation site - LEARN MORE

LEAP (Low Income Energy Assistance Program)
LEAP is a federally funded program that helps eligible hard working Colorado families, seniors and individuals pay a portion of their winter home heating costs. The LEAP Program is accepting applications for the 2016/2017 season from November 1, 2016 - April 30, 2017 heating costs. It is not intended to pay the entire cost of home heating, but rather to help alleviate some of the burden associated with the colder months.
